The 2011 LTC Golf Tournament
ST NEOTS TEAM WIN TRADE CHARITY GOLF FINAL
The Licensed Trade Charity’s National Golf Tournament, kindly supported by Courage Directors, was won in a close run final by the St Neots team on Monday 17th October at Woburn Golf Club.
The winning team from each of the regional heats around the country during the summer won a day’s play at Woburn golf club. With only 16 points between St Neots and the last team’s score, this was a competitive final. St Neots’ team captain, Ray Coleman, said “it is great being able to play at Woburn, and even better to have won this charity tournament”.
The tournament and the final were kindly supported by Wells and Young’s Courage Directors brand. Chris Lewis, Marketing Director said “Courage Directors was well received in all the golf clubs staging the regional heats as well as at Woburn golf club which hosted the final. But aside from the beer, it is great that through this tournament we are helping make a difference for our colleagues in the trade who are facing very difficult times".
The tournament raised over £10,000 for the work of Licensed Trade Support & Care, helping those who work in the trade who find themselves homeless, seriously ill or in struggling financially. Licensed Trade Support & Care is part of the Licensed Trade Charity.
