Struggling to make ends meet?
How we can help
If you are on a very limited income and struggling to pay essential bills, such as food and heating, we may be able to help you with a regular weekly payment. We may even be able to help with essential items such as a cooker or a fridge. These awards aim at assisting with general living costs to ensure that individuals who meet our criteria can achieve a better standard of living.
How we helped Sarah Jones
Following a relationship breakdown, Sarah and her baby daughter had to find accommodation. She had no essential household items and no means to buy them.

Financial Assistance
One of our staff will listen and see if and how we can help you.
We may be able to arrange a visit from one of our trained, volunteer visitors. They are based around the country and visit people with the aim of seeing how the charity can help, and if necessary help you to complete the application form.
For financial assistance and grants, the decision to help can be immediate, or for less urgent cases may take a few weeks to arrange.
You should be in receipt of a means-tested state benefit to apply for this grant.
State Benefits
We can provide you with information on state benefits that you may be entitled to, the help they give you, and how to claim them.
