ALMR Christmas Lunch Raffle launches new campaign from LTC & raises £18,030

The successful annual ALMR Christmas Lunch held on Thursday 16th December at Old Billingsgate launched a new campaign by Licensed Trade Support & Care (part of the Licensed Trade Charity) and raised £18,030 through their raffle.

The new campaign, including a 60 second advert, depicts people who have been helped by the charity, young and old, across a range of occupations within the licensed drinks trade.  The advert was shown to illustrate where the money from the ALMR raffle would be used.

Raffle prizes, donated by member organisations of the ALMR included a £1,000 Virgin holiday voucher, donated by Everards, which was won by Roger Clayson and a weekend pass to the V Festival donated by Bacardi.  During the last five years the ALMR lunch has raised £166,000 for the charity’s work.

Nick Bish, Chief Executive of the ALMR said “Our members and guests are aware how tough it can be for these people and want to help.   The new campaign really hits home and once again I am very proud of the funds we raised that will go towards the charity’s work.”
