Morning Advertiser Great British Pub Awards 2010 raises £5,600 for Licensed Trade Charity

The Morning Advertiser helped raise £5,600 for the Licensed Trade Charity at their Great British Pub Awards on Thursday 9th September. The money was raised amongst the audience, who donated £10 each to play the new Rock and Roll Bingo game.  The game, which is similar to bingo in that the participant marks off tunes they recognise across the card, is a fast growing attraction in pubs today. Rock and Roll Bingo kindly donated two prizes for the first person to call a line, and then house - tickets to Peter Kay and a day on the Orient Express respectively. Liz Gaffer, Director of Marketing at the Licensed Trade Charity said "its fabulous to get such support for our work from the licensees and trade organisations attending this event.  Nearly everyone took part and great fun was had by all". Contacts:LTC - Liz Gaffer - 01344 884440  Rock and Roll Bingo - 0113 259 7013
